Pepe is survived by his daughter, April Heath; son, Josh Ayers; grandchildren, Landon, Austin and Sawyer; sister, Debbie Criddle; life partner and her daughter Margaret Johnson and Nova Ayers; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful friend/advisor, John Catoe.
Pepe was preceded in death by his father, Arthur F. Ayers, Jr.; his mother, Irene Scott; his sister Donna Taylor; and his brother, Anthony "Tony" Ayers.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 2:00pm at Lighthouse Church in North Charleston.
