To the Family of the late Mary Gathers "Sister." Please know that your loss is heavens gain. We pray that God will continue to keep her loving memories in yuor heart.

To our Pastor and First Lady, Rev. and Sis. Rose Gathers and the entire Gathers family, truly we know God as a keeper and a comforter. May you forever stay close and abide under His shadows.

The first time I met Big Ma she made me feel as if I'd known her for years and no matter how shy I felt at an event, I never felt that way around her, she truly made me feel "at home" because her gestures were all genuine and from the heart. Its really extraordinary when you love someone you just met, but I did. Big Ma will always have a special place in my heart and will be greatly missed until we meet again on the other side.

Big Ma I love you. You will be in my heart forever. When you were here you always put everyone's feelings first. You didn't care how much pain you were in you still took care of the family and made sure we had good food to eat and all the love in the world. Now you will be taking care of you are with your father now. The pains are gone for you but mine have just begun, who do I call when I use to pick up the phone and call you? Who is going to call me Princess? Who is going to let me know everthing will be OK? Big Ma you are gone but will never be forgotten. I will try to be as loving as you were everyday. Love your Princess.

To: The Gathers, Shaw and Linder Family. I was truly sorry to hear of "Sister's" death. May the love of God bring you peace during this difficult time.

What can I say to you Big Ma that you don't already know since I am the one who named you. But if I didn't say it enough I loved you for all that you did to help make me who I am and you will truly be missed. I am thankful that I am a part of the same family that you have been part of for 69 years. You will never be forgotten
