Dear Mr. Clay and family,
My mother (Hazel Butler) and I were so sad to hear of Miss Martha's passing. We will always treasure our visits to your lovely home, and every time I water the fig tree you gave me, I think of you both. It is always so hard to say goodbye to our loved ones, but what a comfort to know there is hope beyond this life through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mother and I like to think that that talented Miss Martha is making clothes for the holy angels and decorating heaven! May God bring to mind precious memories until you meet her there.

It was with much regret that we learned of Martha's passing. She was such a loving and thoughtful person and we will miss her. She was beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed her wonderful cakes and she also will be especially missed at Eastbridge. May God bless you and the family at this time of bereavement.
