Marteeka you will be missed. Everyone always says what a nice and friendly person. You went out of your way to speak with everybody you crossed paths with here at the Post & Courier. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

I will never forget you, Marteeka. You are a beautiful spirit who always put a smile on the faces of those around you and filled the hearts of your loved ones with compassion and comfort. I'll always remember that last race that I ran with you, and you will always inspire me to run every race for you! I'll never forget the fun times we had growing up on Forest Ave. Rest in Peace my friend. My condolences to the family.

I'm in such disbelief. We would always run across one another at the Exchange or Commisary. I will always remember your beautiful smile and sweet spirit. My sincere condolences to the family.

You were my roommate, my friend, the girl that I always looked up to. We had crazy memories at Fairchild. You always had it together and I was always a little nerdy...but you liked me for me. You never changed...always true...always Teeka.
The day you left Fairchild, I cried like a baby. You were one of the closest friends I had. Unfortunately, time and life moved us in different directions, only for us to reconnect on and off through the years.

I wish we could have stayed in contact more. I wish I could have told you how much you helped me grow as a person and as a woman. I guess we were friends for a reason AND a season....and it was one of the best seasons of my life.
