To all Mark's family,
I was sorry to hear of the passing of such a great guy like Mark. Family was very important to him. I went to all the same schools as he did, however I was not in his classes, as he was always in the smarter level, even in grade school. We were however in a same class or two in high school. I remember a couple of times he spoke up, was very vocal about his family, in particular an Uncle who had a severe Diabetic reaction on the sidewalk by himself in downtown Everett. In class, on another occassion he expressed great concern regarding a dear relative of his who was battling extreme chronic pain. Family was very important to him even as a teenager.
I also remember seeing him in his sailors outfit as a young man in Everett, and how nice he looked and how very proud he seemed to be. I was glad to hear he found peace and happiness in the South.
Mark was a great guy, a very good person, he was his own person, caring and compassionate, he was always looking out for the underdog, he was a protecting person, he was not out for himself. The world in truly a better place because of him.
My sincere sympathy to all his family,

I treasure this photo of Mark with his family....Cuz Kathleen

Dear Linda, Janice and Brianne,
My heart goes out to you and I know that our Heavenly Father is taking care of Mark and he is at peace. Mark will never be gone as he is a permanent fixture in my life and heart as the little cousin that I grew up with. The irritating little boy grew into a funny, warm and loving friend and I feel so proud to have gotten to know him after so many years of separation. May God bless and keep us all in His arms until we meet again in His Kingdom. All my love, Cuz Kathy
