Marilyn Rasor Obituary

Marilyn Rasor OCALA, FL - Marilyn Cuzzell Rasor, 70, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on June 12, 2023, at West Marion Hospital in Ocala. Marilyn was born in Charleston, SC, to Charles Louis Cuzzell, Jr. and Elizabeth Behrens Cuzzell on February 2, 1953. She graduated from Saint Andrews High School in 1971. She then attended The College of Charleston. She worked for Southern Bell and BellSouth for 30 years. She was a Marketing Manager in Atlanta at the time of her retirement. Marilyn always enjoyed giving her time to charitable organizations inside and outside the company. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. She always had a smile on her face and expressed happiness no matter the situation. She loved holidays with her family, the many trips she shared with her husband, but sharing time with family, friends and her dog, Molly, brought the most joy to her life. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Sam J. Rasor, Jr.; daughter, Megan Geiger Burnham (Matt); grandson, Henry Tucker Burnham; sister, Sandra Marks (Bill); brother, Charles Louis Cuzzell, III (Sherril); stepdaughters, Elizabeth Rasor Page (Lonnie), Susan Rasor Hymes (Bill); and grandsons, Billy Hymes and Sammy Hymes. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Louis Cuzzell, Jr. and Elizabeth Behrens Cuzzell. A small family memorial will be held in her honor later. Roberts of Ocala Funerals and Cremations will be handling the arrangements. Visit our guestbook at legacy.com/obituaries/charleston
