Marian Bryant
Goose Creek - Marian Elizabeth Bryant, 67, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a beloved daughter of the John Marion Bryant and Margaret DeMars Bryant of Goose Creek, South Carolina.
Marian was a devoted and loving mother-fiercely strong, courageous, hardworking, and deeply passionate in all aspects of her life. Above all else, the great love of her life was her son, Clay Carson Bryant. She was immensely proud of him and his career with Delta Air Lines, and everything Marian did-every sacrifice she made and every challenge she faced-was for her son.
Marian was a proud graduate of Goose Creek High School, Class of 1977. She dedicated more than 25 years of service as a Manual Machinist with Eaton Aerospace, where her strong work ethic, technical skill, and reliability were deeply valued.
A devoted patriot, Marian held a deep love for her country. She also found joy in the outdoors and camping, woodworking, puzzles, crocheting, and various handicrafts. Though she had many interests and talents, her greatest and most cherished role was that of a mother. She was beloved beyond measure and will forever be remembered for her strength, devotion, and enduring love.
Marian is survived by her son, Clay Carson Bryant; her mother, Margaret DeMars Bryant; her sisters, Vivian Crankshaw and her husband, Charles, Sharon Bryant and her partner, Veronica Collins, and Grace Mobbs and her husband Danny; her brothers, John Bryant, Jr. and Arthur Bryant and his wife Trish; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Willcox and her husband, Nate, Chris Crankshaw and his wife Alissa, Wesley Mobbs, Tyler Mobbs and his wife, Taylor, AJ Bryant, and Olivia Bryant; and her grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Owen Willcox, Kate Willcox, Mason Willcox, Adelynn Crankshaw, Annastyn Crankshaw, Dani Mobbs, Berkley Mobbs, Everett Mobbs, Ella Mobbs, and Emory Mobbs.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Marion Bryant, and her nephew, Nathan Mobbs.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Russell Funeral Chapel, 107 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the same location. Interment will take place at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina.

To all of the family of Marian, I just want you all to know that I admired her. She & I were a lot alike when it came to not taking any garbage from others & doing most everything herself. I met most of her family when Clay had a birthday party for her several years ago. I felt like I knew her family also. She loved her family dearly (especially Clay) but she loved everyone else in her family also. She will be missed. If you guys need me for anything, please don't hesitate to let me know. God bless.
