Margaret Kathryn Siemers COLUMBIA - A graveside service for Margaret Kathryn Siemers, 86, will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2010, in Bethany Cemetery, 10 Cunningham Ave., North Charleston, SC 29405. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Miss Siemers died Friday, July 9, 2010. Born in Charleston, S.C., she was a daughter of the late John D. and Sophie Behlmer Siemers. She graduated from Memminger High School with honors and attended the College of Charleston. She was employed at the Department of Social Services and later at M.U.S.C. in the Department of Clinical Pathology. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Miss Siemers is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Siemers Moorer of Columbia; three nieces, Elizabeth M. Wolff, Nancy A. Moorer and Jennifer M. Taylor of Columbia; two nephews, Daniel F. Moorer of Columbia and John D. Moorer of West Columbia; and great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 405 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
