Margaret Rogers Obituary

Margaret Rogers GOOSE CREEK - Margaret Ann Rogers, 88 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. Born on June 8, 1935 in South Berwick, ME, she was the daughter of Marion Cole Penney and Ambrose Penney. Margaret enjoyed camping, bowling, and volunteering a the hospital. She worked in the school industry for 25 years. Margaret loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her family. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Ambrose Penney, her husband, Linn Rogers, her sisters, Marie Cashman, Virginia Michaud, Florence Sylvester, Marion Bedell, and Ambrose Penney, Jr. Margaret is survived by children, Kathi Hostetter (Dale), Linn Rogers Jr (Tara), Michael Rogers (Sandra), Samantha Noel (Kevin). She is survived by her sibligings, Patricia Littlefield and Robert Penney. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday November 9, 2023 at 11am at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home. The service will be held at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home at 12pm November 9, 2023. Entombment will follow service at Carolina Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be viewed or submitted online at mcalister-smith.com/. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Goose Creek, PO Box 247, Goose Creek, SC 29445, 843-553-1511.
