Marcia Lynn Muckenfuss Parks RAVENEL - Entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 16, 2011, Marcia Lynn Muckenfuss Parks, wife of William Bruce Parks. Residence, Ravenel, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. W. Bruce Parks are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at 11 a.m. Interment, Christ-St. Paul's Episcopal Churchyard. The family will receive friends Tuesday at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel between 5 and 7 p.m. Marcia was born November 23, 1950, in Walterboro, SC, the daughter of James E. Muckenfuss and Mildred "Millie" Tumbleston Muckenfuss. She was a retired school teacher from Dubose Middle School in Dorchester County School District #2, where she taught for 30 years. She received her B.S. degree from the College of Charleston and her M.A. degree from Webster University. She is survived by her parents of Hollywood; her husband Bruce of 41 years of Ravenel; her son, William Troy Parks and wife, Michelle, of Charleston; and two grandsons, William Connor Parks and Dylan Alexander Parks, both of Charleston. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406 or to the Susan G. I'm so sorry for your loss Bruce. If it hadn't been for Marcia I would have never made it out of algebra class she had the teaching abilities back in high school. Cancer is such an awful desease. Your family is in our prayers.

I am so deeply hurt by the passing of my dear school friend from 4th grade. My mind flashes back to so many fun times and love and secrets we shared as kids.
