I worked with Mack for 15 years at Bankers Trust. Ate lunch with him a hundred times. He was always up for a joke or a golf game. Excellent teacher at American Institute of Banking courses. Great guy, great friend. Joe Wright

All my sympathy in your loss. "Daddy Rivers" was my boss at the bank for many years. His teasing, compassion, multi-tasking and sense of fun made working for him enjoyable. I know God will have a wonderful golf course in heaven just for him! Very wonderful person and a pleasure to work with. I will miss you! 4-speed

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I am a distant cousin through my mother Mary Townsend Rivers Kello. We visited a few years ago and it was good to see and know relatives in this area. My uncle, her brother, was John Kinloch Rivers passed away in 1988 or 89. My mother passed away in 2006 and my father passed in April of this year. Please pass my condolences to your family.
