Lucille M. Shokes CHARLESTON - Mrs. Lucille Mazyck Shokes, 90, of Charleston, SC and wife of the late Julius Shokes, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 22, 2013. She is survived by her children: Clay Mazyck (Albertha), Robert Lee (Vera) Mayzck, Julius (Brenda) Shokes, Min. Solomon J. (Joy) Shokes, Sr. and Annette Shokes; special grandchild, Carnell Shokes; brother, James Mazyck, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Margaret President and Edna Mae McKnight and a host of other loving relatives and sympathetic friends. ****takes a deep breathe**** Where do I start? First and foremost God makes no mistakes so despite the storm continue to give him thanks in all that he has done, thank him for the life and legacy of 90 strong years that Mrs. Lucille has lived and the 90 long years that she has kept the family going. The pictures, the special occassions, and family get togethers will all be memories to cherish. Continue to look to the hills for which cometh ALL your help.I encourage you to try Jesus...not only when your you're going through bereavement but in everything you do for you will not find a better friend. We as church friends will miss her dearly. If there is anything that you need dont hesitate to let us know...much love to you all.
