Louise Means Obituary

MEANS, Louise CHARLESTON, SC - Louise Cleveland Means, widow of James Edward Means Jr., died on Friday, June 16, 2006, at the Presbyterian Home in Charleston where she was a resident. She lived most of her life in Greenville, South Carolina and was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church of Greenville where she participated in many of the activities of the church. In 1999, she joined the Second Presbyterian Church in Charleston. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Noel P. (Erin) Mellen of Charleston and Mrs. W. S. (Elaine) Haugabook of Montezuma, GA; six grandchildren: Lorraine Jeter, James Edward Mellen, Catherine Cook, Samuel B. Haugabook Jr., Kelly Beach and W. (Steven) Haugabook and four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services Monday, June 19, 2006 at 3:00 PM at the Remembrance Mausoleum Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville with visitation from 2:30 until 3:00 PM. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the charity of your choice. The Mackey Mortuary, Greenville, SC. www.mackeymortuary.com.
