Linda Kay Jackson
Awendaw - Linda Kay Jackson, 77, of Awendaw, South Carolina, wife of the late, Elwood Eugene Jackson Sr., entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 23, 2026 in Mount Olivet Pentecostal Holiness Church, 8469 Doar Road at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Wilson Cemetery in Awendaw. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.
Linda was born April 10, 1948 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, daughter of the late William D Staley and Myrtis Wyndham Staley. She was a caregiver to her son most of his life and became a "Mom' to many nearby children as well. After the loss of her son, she went back to school and worked for Charleston County in food and beverage.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina Naylor (Patrick); grandchildren, Dorothy Kay and her family; Shane White (Kylie Egan), Amanda Piccone and her family; J. P. Naylor; sister, Patricia Blackman (Randall); and sister by choice, Nancy Munn and family; nephews, Dean and family and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Elwood Eugene Jackson Jr. and Michael Shawn Jackson.
