Not sure what to say?

To the Family,

I just heard of Mrs. Ivey's passing and I just want to say she will always have a special place in my heart. I remember her as the kindhearted secretary when I was just a kid in grammer school at Harbor View Elementary school and much later as a welcome familiar face of assistance when I was between jobs and substituting years later at James Island Middle School. I had the pleasure of meeting two of the members of your family quite by coincidence when I was enjoying a summer drink poolside at Kiawah several years ago and we reminisced together later that evening at my home. Warmest regards and remembrances to you and your family from the Fassuliotis family.

To the Ivey Family, Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your mother. Your mother was a loving and caring person. I knew Mrs. Ivey back in the early 70's when i was a student at Creighton Frampton Elementary School. Mrs. Ivey was more than just a secretary. She was the Nurse , The Principal, The Teacher, The Custodian, and a second Mother.Their was no job that she would not do. I remember the time that Iwas in the third grade and we did not have a nurse in the building that day. Mrs. Ivey would make sure she took care of your problem until your parents had arrive to take you home. If you did not have a fever she would let you lay down after giving you some peppermint to settle your stomache before sending you back to class. Later in the school day you can bet that she will come by your class and check on you. I can still remember her today the way she looked backed then, sitting at her desk with her short curly hair, always doing something. Family my prayer for you will be that you find peace from the memories of her love that she shared with everyone that she encountered and hope that this will comfort you now and in the days ahead. May god keep you all in his loving arms.
