Dr. William H. Hoppmann III

April 4, 2006

I was sorry to hear about the recent passing of Mrs. Lillian Marie Platt Hoppmann and would like to thank Tim Hoppmann for informing me about this sad event - I was wondering if her late husband Marion Hoppmann was the same Marion Hoppmann whose hospital room I was in, in Charleston sometime in July of 1983 with aunt Mary, William II and my mother, the late Gladys Hoppmann. If it is, the family might be interested to know that I have kept a couple of envelopes to this day, from the old Frances Marion Hotel, in memory of uncle Marion.

Peace to all in this Easter Season, 2006.

My mother was a sweet and loving woman .She had a deep favor for Our Lord and His Blessed Mother.I personaly know there was always a pray in her heart.

Spring was her favorite time of the year, she loved being out in her yard careing for her flowers. The one thing see missed the most was her sight but today we know she can see.
