Lee Fisher Obituary

RADM Lee Wilson Fisher, USN (Ret.) MT. PLEASANT - RADM Lee Wilson Fisher, USN (Ret.), 89, of Mount Pleasant, husband of Beverley Waugh Fisher, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015. Lee was born August 28, 1925 in Weehawken, New Jersey, son of the late DeWitt Fisher and Anna Wilson Fisher. He attended Hobart College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and was a graduate of the Naval Post Graduate School. Lee retired from the U.S. Navy after 37 years, having achieved the rank of Rear Admiral. His awards included the Legion of Merit with two Gold Stars, the Navy Commendation Medal and the Distinguished Service Medal. Lee is survived by Beverley, his wife of 67 years; daughter-in-law, Sharron, and grandson, Michael; sister, Jean Stonesifer; nephews, Joseph Stonesifer, John Stonesifer (Susan), Andrew Beling (Carolyn) and niece, Jene Lyons (Dave). He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Wallace Fisher; and his son, Lee W. Fisher, Jr. Interment will be in Beaufort National Cemetery and a Memorial Service will be held in Mt.
