Laura Spong Obituary

I shall always remember my friend Laura... with constant reminders on the walls of my home...

Met Laura working in her studio one day. Large canvases showed an expanded artistic sensibility and an etheral glimpse into the human search for truth. Inspired to join in and seek.

I shall miss Laura and feel so fortunate to have known her. Our paths crossed at a difficult time for me and her art and inspiration had a great influence on helping me through it. Her paintings will be a constant reminder of a wonderful person. Thank you Laura for being my friend.

Laura was a a dear friend and wonderful artist and my heart is broken knowing she is no longer with us. My prayers are with her family, knowing just how much she loved them. Thinking of you all.

I knew Mrs. Spong through her children...she was always so kind to me and I always enjoyed running into her to find out what her children were up too....She loved talking about her family and was proud of each of them....She lived her life to the fullest and made each day count spending her mornings painting ...She was my favorite artist, her huge canvas's filled with amazing colors will be around for many years, touching many lives....Thank you Mrs. Spong, for leaving behind so much of yourself.....
