Missing Larry and our talks.

My husband and I moved to Charlotte a few years ago for a short time. He was having health issues that the doctors there ultimately diagnosed as ALS. Shortly afterwards we renewed our commitment to Jehovah to follow the teachings of his son Jesus at the Elevation church in Blakely. You in fact baptised both my husband and I.We also had the opportunity to meet your mom and dad and learned he too was suffering from this terrible disease. I tried calling your mom once.... She gave me her number....to see how they were doing. I know first hand how difficult this has been on our family and just wanted to pass along my regards. Steven we moved back to our home in Savannah Ga but listen to you most weeks via internet. You have made us hold on to the faith and knowing that all things are in God's hands. I'm sorry for the suffering your family.... especially your dad has had to endured. I am thankful though that he ( we) have the opportunity to be with Jesus one day when suffering will be no more. Thank you for touching our lives and impacting the world through the lessons you teach and the example you set. Your dad must have passed with a full heart knowing his family was in the safe hands of God. That in and of itself is worth dying for.

Stephanie...I know that we have had our differences but at a time like this we have to put them aside.....I am truly so sorry for your loss. I know how much my daddy is to me and can not imagine what you and your family have and are going through. Please know that me and my family will have you and your family in our prayers. God Speed!

I was blessed to know Larry for such a short time, but in that time, I know that I was in the true presence of a man of God. Well, Larry, God answered that big question, didn't He?

Just a thankful guy who has benefited from this family through God's grace and divine timing by speaking God's truths into my life when I needed it most. Sorry for your loss, but looking ahead to the day when there will no longer be tears and all our stories will unfold in heaven as we all come together from all parts of this world to join in worship in the next. Love to you all.

Pastor Steven this is Brother Montee sister Easterling son. My heart goes out to you in your loss. I attend the uptown campus. Its a wonderful church it reminds me of a university you and the other pastors have such a fun way of bringing the word to the Jesus worshipers I would not have it any other way. While our hearts go to the family and friends of L-Train, we find comfort in the fact, that his Lord, said come my good and faithful servant, the chapter on earth is over, now lets do this next chapter in a land I have prepared for you. You can tell alot about a man when you look at his children. Mr. Furtick you must have been a great man. God bless the Furtick family.

Our fondest memory of Larry was the night we played Wii with our small group. He was a great friend that we will always remember. Call if you need anything. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you remember the life of Mr. Furtick and celebrate his new life with our Lord. I saw him a few weeks back at Elevation Matthews. I feel like we knew him through Pastor Steven.

We had such great conversations the last two years since he spoke with Pastor Steven at Elevation Church. Not only were we the same age but married our sweet hearts the same day and year. God Bless you Furlick Family.
