Kipp Krauk Obituary

Kipp William Krauk HUGER, SC - On Saturday, August 6, 2022, Kipp William Krauk, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 54. Kipp was born on March 16, 1968,in Charleston, SC, to Richard G. and Marguerite H. Krauk. He was raised in Hanahan, SC, where he attended school and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina with a major in Political Science and a minor in Theology. He married Kate Taylor on August 25, 2021. He had two children from a previous marriage and two step children all of whom he adored. Kipp was in the hardwood flooring industry for many years, but found his passion for helping others when he became a respiratory therapist and began working in Mt. Pleasant and Hilton Head hospitals. He worked tirelessly through the pandemic serving patients with kindness, compassion and joy. Many will remember him for his laughter and happy go lucky demeanor. Kipp loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and grilling out. Kipp was preceded in death by his father, Richard, and his mother, Marguerite (Sissy). He is survived by his wife, Kate; his two children, Madison and Natalie; his two step-children, Hayley and Forrest; his brother, Mark (Kimberly Troy Krauk); niece, Lucy; and sister, Kimberly (Seth Bacon), and several cousins. A service will be held at Charleston Cremation Center & Funeral Home located at 2054 Wambaw Creek, Charleston, SC 29492 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2022.
