Kevin Jackson Obituary

Kevin Jerome Jackson CHARLESTON - Kevin Jerome Jackson, 52, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Kristine Elizabeth Sanson Jackson, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. His graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel. Kevin was born October 8, 1970 in Phoenix, Arizona, son of Jerome Jackson and Pearline H. Jackson. Kevin loved his family and friends, and was adored by everyone he met. Kevin and Krissie were best friends, and the loves of each others lives. Every day together was filled with love and laughter. His life was centered around family, friends, and church. He was an active member of New Day Community Church and an avid sports fan. Kevin's smile, alone, was infectious. He loved to make people laugh by telling corny jokes to anyone who would listen, leaving a trail of smiles and laughter behind. He had a heart of gold and a spirit of generosity and compassion. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife and parents, Kevin is survived by his brother, Taj M. Jackson; and his beloved dog, NeeNee. Memorial donations can be made in Kevin's memory towards Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis research. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com. I was saddened to hear of Kevin's passing. I met Kevin in 1996 when he gave me a job at Jarmin Shoes, Northwoods mall. From day one we hit it off as good friends. I have lots of good memories of Kevin. He was always kind and had lots of jokes. Even if we lost contact over the years, you're always a thought away. Sending prayers to his family and his wife. Rest up Kevin, I'll miss you. Love

I remember staying the night with him. and getting to know his family well. His granny was there slot to take care of him and as we older I remember always asking about here. I been following Kevin through this fight and praying for him everyday but the lord had other plans and needed him. Kevin you are healthy now and looking down on s all. We will see you again. Until then we will take your laugh smile and kindness and remember you that way

Sending my condolences out to the Jackson family. I´ve had the pleasure of meeting Kev when I was 7yra old when we lived on the Naval Military Base. He was best friends with my older brother Fan. Every time Kev came over he would always have a Big Mac meal and me and my lil brother would run up to him and he would always share his fries with us lol Kev also bought my son´s first pair of shoes when he worked at the mall. I will continue to remember the good memories and laughter he always brought to my family for the last 30 yrs! Sleep in peace Big Kev, and we love you!-Watson Family
