Kenneth E. Mohler

PORT CLINTON: Kenneth E. Mohler, 88, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Friday, June 13, 2014 at H.B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. Kenneth was born on January 17, 1926 in Fremont, OH, the son of Sardis and Lura (Saks) Mohler.

On October 29, 1926 in Lakeside, OH, he married the love of his life, Mary H. McRitchie. She preceded him in death on April 15, 2005.

Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was an engineer for US Gypsum for more than 30 years retiring in 1986. Ken, more recently, enjoyed his time with his faithful companion and loving dog, Annie and the "Two Amigos & Eloise". He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

Survivors include: daughter, Cindi (Ted) Weatherby of Charleston, SC; son, Chris (Janine) Mohler of Beaufort, SC; grandchildren, Elizabeth "Boo" (Brian) Pierson, Ty and Blair Weatherby, Kylie, Chase, Carolina and Macy Bruce Mohler; great granddaughter, "Little Boozy" who will arrive in August; sister-in-law, Wave McRitchie; many nieces and nephews, including Bobbi Schmidt, Ralph and George McRitchie and Sally Nelson. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother: Don Mohler, sister-in-law & brother-in-law: JoAnne & Bob Englebeck.

Friends may call 1pm, Thursday, June 19, 2014, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton, OH, where Memorial Services will be celebrated at 2pm.
