Kenneth Hammond Obituary

Kenneth "Kipp" R. Hammond, II Hampton, VA - Kenneth "Kipp" R. Hammond, II entered into eternal rest on Saturday May 19, 2018. A Memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Friday May 25, 2018 in the St. George United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Theron Smith officiating. His family will receive friends an hour before the service at the Church. Kipp was born March 5, 1989 in Orangeburg, SC the son of Kenneth R. Hammond and Cameron Jackson Jones. He attended Orangeburg Prep, Summerville High School and was a graduate of the International Diving Institute in Charleston, SC. He was employed as a commercial underwater diver for Chesapeake Bay Diving Company. He was a member of White House United Methodist Church, Four Holes Community in Orangeburg. He was predeceased by grandparents, Dorothy A. Logan and Bishop Lee Jackson. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his fiance, Rachelle Ann Banks, Hampton, VA; his mother and father, Cameron and William R. "Bill" Jones of St. George and Kenneth Randal Hammond of Los Osos, CA: Grandmothers, Patricia "Mimi" Cottingham, Orangeburg, Peggy Jones, St. George; aunt, Alesia (Matt) Way, Vance; cousins Dillon Way and Dakota Way, sisters; Elizabeth (Travis) Almers, Meagan (Danny) Kizer, both Harleyville; great aunt and uncle Olivia (Robert) Coburn, Lake View SC ; Nieces and Nephews, Reed Almers, Campbell Almers, Palmer Kizer, Braeden Kizer; Special companions Rooster and Kimbo.
