Kathryn Mitchum Watson CharLeston - Kathryn Mitchum Watson, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of the late Robert M. Watson Sr., entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. Kathryn was born September 21, 1933, in Bethera, Berkeley County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Samuel H. Mitchum and the late Bernice Chambers Mitchum. She was a longtime member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. Kathryn retired from GMAC and Marchant Chevrolet. She is survived by her son, Robert Michael Watson Jr. of Lexington, SC; her friend and care taker, Clara Martin; her sister, Innis Evers; her devoted cousin, Skip Chambers; her 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
