You know your mom is bragging to all the angels right now about what a wonderful family she has in you and your father.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, and in all ways acknowledge him, and he will set your paths straight.
My prayers are with you, and I love yall!

Memories will remain with this wonderful family. I have known the Skorski's for 18 years. I feel like I'm their adopted Cuban daughter. Kathy was a real person. Someone that will encourage you and also tell you like it is. She really was the "Jane of all Trades". I said goodbye to Kathy on Sunday and that will be the last time I will see her, but her face and spirit will remain quite vivid in my mind. Katie and John are strong and will be able to celebrate Kathy's fulfilled and joyful life.

My love and prayers go out to your family during this time. We made so many great memories in just a few short years, didn't we? Kathy is and always will be one of my favorite people. She touched so many lives, including mine, and was one of the most incredible people I have ever met. God bless you guys...

Dearest Kathy...I will miss you so much! Every day at work, without fail, you would smile..give me a smile and say "hows it go'in?" You always thought of others and always were concerned about their needs. I will miss your flair for life-lots of color,up-to-date and fun-lots of jewlery and an inspiration-always up beat and endearing. I'm so very glad that I told you all of this before you died-you were a good friend. My faith is that you have just stepped over a thresehold-just as alive and vibrant-we just can't see you. You are smiling at all of us and waiting with open arms for a hug. My prayers are with you-a candle lit for you and your loved ones.

Katie-i met your Mom several times and was impressed with her warmth, devotion to you, and enthusiasm for life. Remember you have the best of her in you and cherish what she has given you. She was taken too soon but I know she gave you enough love in those years you had together to last you a lifetime.

My heart goes out to Katie and John during this time of sorrow. I loved Kathy for always getting lipstick on my face when she kissed us girls. She loved, as Katie does, to throw parties and be the "Hostess with the Mostess." You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers! With my deepest sympathies... I love you!

My heart goes out to everyone at this difficult time - especially my dear friend, Katie, and Big John. Kathy was an incredibly caring woman so full of life and laughter that it was contagious. I remember the many days I spent with the Skorskis at their residence in Erie - it often felt like a second home. I feel very blessed to have had the time I did with her and will think of her often. Thank you, Kathy, for the laughs and the love. You will be greatly missed...

So many memories Kathy, I can't begin to tell you how much you have meant to so many people. In the past 18 years, there have been ups and downs, crazy times, fun times. I can still hear you saying how much you hated Charleston and wanted to move back to Erie!! I think ONE of my favorite memories is sleepovers with Katie and asking her "why is your mom vaccumming at 3am??". You were always so encouraging to me, you and John were my second family here in Charleston. That house won't be the same without you. Whenever I watch Sex and the City at 2am, I'll be thinking of you. All joking aside, Katie, John, and Aunt Mickey will miss you so much and I will always be there for them and you. "And he will raise you up on Eagle's Wings"

I knew Kathy for a short two years and in that time I knew how much she loved life, her family and friends. She was very creative and full of fun. She leaves behind a beautiful, smart, witty, caring daughter who I also am so glad to have met.
