Katharine Rima Dube' Summerville - Katharine Rima Dube', 23, of Summerville, wife of Davey B. Sweet, Jr., passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Berkeley County. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 11 o'clock until 1:30 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock at Knightsville United Methodist Church, 1505 Central Ave, Summerville, SC 29483. Burial will follow at Boone Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Ashley Ridge Fire Department, 8045 Dorchester Rd., Charleston, SC 29418 or Cross Rural Fire Department, 1980 SC-6, Cross, SC 29436. Katharine was born on January 5, 1995 in Summerville, SC, daughter of Eugene Dube' and Jennifer Mathews Dube'. She graduated from Summerville High School in 2013. The Summerville marching band was her family. Katharine played softball for Summerville Girls Softball League. She was tough but always had a contagious smile on her face. She was a firefighter for Ashley Ridge Fire Department and Cross Fire Department. She was loved by so many and will be sadly missed. Survivors including her husband and parents are: two daughters: Brookelynn Sweet and Kennedy Sweet both of Summerville; three sisters: Emily Dube', Madison Dube' and Theresa Dube' all of Summerville; grandmothers: Theresa Mathews of Summerville and Ruth Dube' Forget of New Hampshire; father-in-law: David Sweet, Sr. of Summerville; sister-in-law: Lacey Sweet (Billy Kelly) of Summerville; she was loved by so many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfathers: TSGT US Airforce Jessie C. Mathews and Marcel C. Dube'; her loving cousin: Donica Sweat Vest; mother-in-law: Brenda Sweet.
