Katharine Bullock Blackwell Hollywood, SC - Katharine "Kathy" Bullock Blackwell, 79, of Hollywood, wife of Theodore "Ted" Edward Blackwell, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at The Village of Summerville. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 12 o'clock to 1 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Indiantown Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 4865 Hemingway Hwy, Hemingway, SC 29554. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist, 5412 SC-165, Hollywood, SC 29449. Kathy was born on April 13, 1942 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Thomas Smythe and Mary Katharine Bullock. She attended N. Charleston High School. Kathy completed high school while her husband was at Clemson University. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Kathy retired from First Federal as the Harborview Rd. Branch Manager. Survivors, in addition to her husband, Ted of 63 years, are: two daughters: Cindy Aldridge (Dennis) of Newland, NC and Melanie Brinson (Barry) of Hollywood, SC; four grandchildren: Beth White, Adrienne White, Michael Brinson (Kathleen), and Margaret Wright (Ben); great- grandchildren: Molly McDonald, John Michael Brinson, and Walter Brinson; and brother, Tom Bullock (Betty) of Charleston, SC.
