Justin Grant Yoder Summerville - Justin Grant Yoder, 40, of Summerville, husband of Renee Yoder, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Summerville Medical Center. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock at Summerbrook Church, 676 Orangeburg Rd., Summerville, SC 29483. A funeral service will begin at 2 o'clock at Summerbrook Church. Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 11000 Dorchester Rd., Summerville, SC 29485. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Summerbrook Church, 676 Orangeburg Rd., Summerville, SC 29483. Justin was born on October 26, 1980, in Hickory, NC, son of Norris Yoder and stepmother, Diane M. Yoder, of Hickory, NC, and Patricia Williams Wilmoth and stepfather, Kenneth Reeves Wilmoth of Hickory, NC. He graduated from Fred T. Foard in Newton, NC, and then received his Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice from UNCC in Charlotte, NC. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Summerbrook Church. He was in charge of the security team at the church and served in many other areas in the church. Survivors in addition to his wife, Renee, are: two children: Karsyn Yoder of Summerville and Nathan Stavrakas of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law: Michelle Hess and daughter, Carly; five siblings: Jason Morris (Misty) of Lincolnton, NC, David Johnstone of Granite Falls, NC, Sierra Stone (Tony) of Hickory, NC, Scott Wilmoth (Amy) of Rutherfordton, NC, and Chad Wilmoth (Ulrike) of Pope Valley, CA; mother and father-in-law: Nelson and Deenise Plyler of Monroe, NC; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a multitude of friends who meant the world to him. He was predeceased by grandparents: Gertrude and Aubrey Williams, Pauline and Marvin Yoder, and Gene and Mabel Medlin. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at
