Dear Leighton and family,
After reading your Mother's eulogy, I thought back fondly of all the stories you shared about her, and of course the famous calendar, which I brought to my own Assisted Living for all to see! Porter certainly had a great life, and rest assured that she is now in the Lord's Embrace. My deepest sympathy to you and Jim ~ With love, Linda

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as we just heard of the news of Porter's passing. We so enjoyed meeting your mother and father so many years ago. What wonderful parents. Loved to hear the stories of your parents. Cherish those memories and may they help you through this difficult time. Our deepest sympathies to you,

To Leighton and your family,
My heart goes out to all of you on the loss of Porter. Although I never met your mother, I feel I know her a little bit through the delightful Bishop Gadsden calendar, her wonderful recipes (I especially love her Shrimp Creole) and of course, the stories Leighton has told of her. She had a zest for life that we all can envy.

May the love of your friends and family and the memories of your remarkable mother sustain you through this difficult time.

My deepest sympathies,

Adrienne Chisolm-Cox; Winningham Court, Bishop Gadsden

To the Smith Family:

I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of Mrs. Smith's passing. I knew Mrs. Smith as she frequently dined in the Winningham Court Dining Room at Bishop Gadsden. I often marveled at the ladies when the group came for dinner. They brought so much joy always laughing, sharing stories, and singing! I often said that I would induct myself into the Martini Girls group. Oh how I love those ladies. She will truly be missed! Be encouraged, she is now resting in the arms of her maker!
