Dear Harriet: Your mother left quite a legacy. Her outgoing personality and helpful attitude was influencing all young people as far back as 1951 when she was secretary to Mr Russell Cross, the Supertendient of Cross High School. A great lady who left an indelible mark on many lives. I know you will miss her. Sincerely,
Jack D Grooms

Dear Aunt Harriet, Allison, Audrey, and family,
I am so sorry that I couldn't come to be there with you for Aunt Jule's funeral. I wanted so to be able to sing "I Bowed on My Knees and Cried Holy" in her memory. I love you all with all my heart and thank you for understanding. I will miss her sweet smile, but I know she is in a better place today with Mother and Grandaddy!
Love always,
Annette

Dear Harriet,
My mind goes back to a fish fry over at Uncle Bud's. There was a crowd, and we children were eating Red Horse bread and listening to Aunt Jule's stories while the fish was still cooking. It's difficult to believe that more than fifty years have passed since that evening.
She couldn't have had a more devoted daughter.

May it help to know we care.

Dear Allison, Your grandmother was quite a lady! You were so fortunate to have had her in your life for these years. Plus, your children have had the opportunity denied to many - A great-grand into their adult lives.Remember her stories and tell them. With fond memories, Michelle
