I am truly saddened to hear of John’s sudden passing. He was a mentor to me during his time at MUSC. I will never forget our “Planning” team, working under his leadership. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be missed.

I had the privilege of working with John during his tenure at MUSC. He was a kind, decent, and reasonable man - as well as someone who enjoyed a good laugh. So saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers to John and his family and friends.

I was shocked and saddened to see the news today about John. He was a colleague at MUSC and always supportive of the projects undertaken by our department. In addition, his sense of humor, gentle manner, intelligence and competence made working with him a pleasure. My condolences and deepest sympathy to his family and many friends.
