John Shaw Obituary

When we were new to Sumter in '03 and my pets needed care,Carolyn Hughes told us of Dr. Shaw,I was always grateful for his wisdom and kindness to me and my pets. My heart felt sympathy to the family and his staff. GOD give you rest,Dr. Shaw.

I just learned of John's death from Frank Cox. John was introduced to us at DKA by Tom Bowen, another friend and fraternity brother at Clemson.

John was a good man and will be missed by all. We were all blessed to have had him as a friend.

I am so saden to hear of John's passing. He and I attended Edmunds as well as Clemson togheher. John was a caring Vet who took care of all of my mothers pets for a long number of years. He will be missed in the Sumter Community and as well as a friend.

John Shaw was a fine person and had been my friend for my entire life. I always have pleasant thoughts when I think of John. I deeply regret that I will not be able to attend his funeral as I am in Florida staying with a friend at the Mayo Clinic this week. Barbara & I would like to express our deepest sympathy in the loss of John. John and I had many good visits at Naomi's for that early morning coffee. He will be missed by a lots of people that were his customers that he befriended because of his love of animals. A man of strong character and great integrity............ No more pain or sorrows..... Take that well deserved rest, John.

John was my first boyfriend in the 3rd grade. We were neighbors during all of our childhood and I loved him. He was a wonderful person and he will be missed terriby by all of us. My prayers are with Brenda and the family.
