John Pringle Obituary

John Lee Pringle RIDGEVILLE - Mr. John Lee Pringle, 71, of Ridgeville, SC, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011. The funeral for Mr. John Lee Pringle will be held at noon on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Mt. Pisgah AME Church, Highway 27, Ridgeville, SC. Pastor J.P. Harrison, officiating. Burial will be in the Shuler Cemetery in Ridgeville. Mr. Pringle was born in Ridgeville, son of the late Jerrie U. Pringle and Mrs. Annie Mae Capers Pringle. He attended the public schools of Berkeley County. He was formerly employed at Planters Fertilizer Plant and Paragon Electric Company before venturing as a landscaping and janitorial services entrepreneur. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Pringle. His survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mrs. Lillian Brown Pringle; one grandson, whom he raised, Jonathan Pringle; children, Wayne Williams of Norwalk, CT, Clement Gaddist (Marlene) of Ladson, SC, Jackie Hamilton (Jesse) of Moncks Corner, SC, Al Smith (Sylvia) of Summerville, SC, Vautina Ferrell (James) of Ridgeville, and Pamela Robertson-Mitchell (Randy) of Goose Creek, SC; siblings, Sammie Pringle (Alene) of Albany, GA, Lula Middleton of Ladson, Jerry Pringle, Shellie Overton (Randy), Willie Mae Chatman (Louis) all of Ridgeville, Amos Pringle (Glendell) of Holly Hill, and Bertha Washington (James) of Ridgeville; aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, adopted daughters, special friends, grandchildren, and other relatives.
