Fellow pilot in the 55AAS in the late 70's at Rhein Main AB, West Germany. John was a great pilot and mentor! Will always remember the weeklong Pakistan trips and Capt Pickard being the Aircraft Commander. John was always 'cool' under pressure-even with a less experienced co-pilot flying an at mins NDB approach into a snowy, icey runway at Ancara Turkey. Fond memories of a superb pilot with a great sense of humor. May John RIP and God Bless his Family❤
PS John perfected the art of 'wine probing'
