I just found out the sad news about John's passing. My sincerest condolences to all those that John left behind. John was my boss for several years before he left Nashua and moved to South Carolina. Believe me when I say that John....or "The Leuch"...as we liked to call him was one of the best friends I ever had. He was a great boss and always treated me very well. He definately earned my respect. John talked almost constantly about his love of flying and was never stumped when identifying planes that would fly overhead. I will remember John and will hold his memory dear til I draw my last breath.

John got me started on my Instrument Rating and went with me on many check rides. He was a friend and will be missed.

John and I spent several flights together as he helped me stay current with my instrument rating. He was always a kind and generous person, ready to help with any questions or needs. The last conversation I had with John was on July 24 when my wife and I were about to leave for Georgia in our 210. My battery was weak for some reason and John graciously offered a hand and provided external power to get us on our way without delay. I will miss my fun times in the air with John but I will always know he will be flying with me as my instructor as I fly each trip in the future. We will all miss him and may God bless him.
