John LeBlanc Obituary

John LeBlanc Summerville - John J. LeBlanc, 81, retired veteran with the United States Navy, of Summerville, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Memorial services will be announced later in February. John, was born in Gardner, Massachusetts on December 15, 1939. He was the son of Irene Helen LeBlanc. He graduated from Athol High School then joined the United States Navy in 1957. He married his first wife, Sara Jane Brown, on September 2, 1961 before rejoining the Navy once again. He worked for Metal Trades before retiring, then becoming a security guard. John loved crossword puzzles, cribbage, farkle and Mexican train, was on a bowling league at Sandpiper Lanes and he was the #1 Boston Red Sox fan. John is survived by his wife, Lou Anne; sons, Eric LeBlanc (Tanya) and John LeBlanc, Jr.; daughters, Candace Stauver (Robbie) and Jenifer Bloxom (Kevin) and his brother, Richard Boutell. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Sara Jane LeBlanc; his mother, Irene Helen LeBlanc Boutell and his step father, Richard Boutell.
