John Denney Obituary

Dear brother we didn't get to use the arrangements we had planned but the main thing is I know where you are. Love your closest family member, your brother.

Love is stronger than grief.

Mrs. Denney, James, and Shirley, my sisters Becky and Faye join me in expressing how sad we are that such a sweet soul as Leland passed. After our father John died, he would visit with Mama and us often, and always was always such a good friend to the Georgeos. We are truly sorry at his passing and for your loss. You may be comforted to know that whenever people think of Leland, it is always with a smile and fondness. Our love goes out to you all. Alex

Worked with Leland at Nucor for years. Very good man. Always had a smile and a handshake. I'll miss him.

So sorry to hear of Leland's death. He always made us laugh even at sad times. We saw him last at Aunt Rosie's funeral. Just remember happy times, Gene and Linda Haynes

I remember him always taking care the yard across the street and keeping it so nice for his Mom and Dad. He was so quick with a kind word and a joke and was always full of fun to talk to. During his Father's illness, his mother commented on his dedication and love for them during that tough time. He will be missed by so many and was a great neighbor in every way!
