John Bolton Obituary
BOLTON, John The relatives and friends of Mr. John Edward Bolton, Sr., and those of his wife the late Mrs. Beatrice Ward Bolton are invited to attend his funeral service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 5, 2006, in Shiloh AME Church, 172 Smith St. The Rev. Harold Jefferson is pastor and Rev. John Paul Harrison will officiate. Interment will follow at St. James AME Cemetery, John Island, SC. Viewing for Mr. Bolton is today, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church. The Christian Wake will begin at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Bolton is survived by his sons and daughters, John E. Bolton, Jr., Beverly Bolton Smith (Walter), Carolyn Bolton Bond (Ronald), Linda Bolton Gaston (Johnnie), Yvonne Bolton, Gary Bolton, Jeanette Bolton-Rice (James) and Clayton Allen Bolton (Vanessa); 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Rev. Leon Bolton, sister, Mrs. Mary P. Harrison; brother-in-law, James Ward; sisters-in-law, Nathalee Dixon, Wilhelmina Wilson; cousin, Ada B. Simmons; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
