Joan Bilsback Obituary

Joan Bilsback SUMMERVILLE - Joan Marie Bilsback, aged 86, passed away on August 25, 2025, in Summerville, SC. Born on January 20, 1939, Joan spent much of her life serving others, both through her long tenure at Reidy's restaurant in New York City and her volunteer work at the SC Aquarium and the Seabrook Island Turtle Patrol. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, William Bilsback. She is survived by her loving family, including her two sons, Bruce Bilsback (Dawn) and Christopher Bilsback (Theresa), and her three stepdaughters, Carol Hille (Cliff), Christine Rendeiro (Al), and Caren Lorraine. Joan had 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SC Aquarium. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakbrook rehab for caring for her these last two years.
