CMSgt. Jerry Allen Anderson, Jr. (Ret.) Summerville - CMSgt (ret.) Jerry Allen Anderson, Jr., 66, of Summerville, husband of 46 years to Donna Anderson, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Trident Hospital. A Gathering of friends and family will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 2 o'clock to 4 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Jerry was born on December 2, 1950 in Knox County, TN, son of the late Reverend Jerry Allen Anderson, Sr. and Martha Anderson. He was an avid outdoorsman and shared his family's love of mountain trout fishing, hunting, kayaking, photography, and hiking/camping. He was a thirty-year veteran of the USAF, serving from Vietnam to Alaska and many stations between. After the Air Force, he served as the test director for AAI Services until his retirement in 2008. Surviving in addition to his wife Donna are two sons: Jeremy Anderson (Cristie) of Niceville, FL and Joshua Anderson (Christine) of Myrtle Beach; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; two sisters: Dana Skye of Ann Arbor, MI and Rene Parsons of Knoxville, TN and one brother: Mark Anderson of Knoxville, TN.
