Ken West Obituary

Ken WEST "A Loving Uncle To Many" Ken passed away peacefully at his home in Lynnwood on February 21, 2012, at the age of 71. He was born on December 24, 1940 in Seattle Washington. He grew up in Seattle and finished his schooling at Qualicum College School in Victoria, B.C. Ken returned to Seattle and worked as a groundskeeper at Evergreen Washelli Cemetery for 30 years. He was a faithful member of St. James Lutheran Church of Bothell. He is survived by his brother and sister in law Don and Sally West of Monroe; nieces Connie Buckingham (Bill) of West Seattle, Christie West of Mercer Island and Cyndie Westof Maple Valley; great-niece Melissa Buckingham, great nephews David Buckingham (Brooke and Baby Buckingham), Ben Keck and Chris Buckingham (Jennifer, Ryver and Trooper). And numerous friends who were like family to Ken. He was dearly loved by many. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 1, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. at Evergreen Washelli Cemetery Chapel, 11111 Aurora Avenue N., Seattle.
