Jeffrey Schoepfel Obituary

Jeffrey James Schoepfel KIAWAH ISLAND - It is with heavy hearts that we announce Jeffrey James Schoepfel passed away on December 11, 2022. He is survived by his loving children, Jessica and Nicholas, and his former wife, Robin. He is preceded in death by his son, Brian Schoepfel, his parents, Bernice and David Schoepfel, and his brother, David Schoepfel. Jeff was born in Rochester, NY on November 24, 1961. He was the founder and president of GSP Transportation. He started with one location and over 29 years, grew the company to be the largest Hertz/Dollar/Thrifty Franchise in North America. He enjoyed talking about sports and history, and loved spending time with Jessica, and going to Nicholas's hockey games. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeff's name can be made to the American Heart Association or the Wounded Warriors Project. We will notify all with a future date for a memorial and celebration of life service. Visit our guestbook at legacy.com/obituaries/charleston
