Chris Moore Obituary
Chris was a dedicated heavy equipment operator for Trident Waste. His industrious spirit led him to a diverse career, working at several places including Auto Salvage in Ladson, Johnson's Auto Salvage, Carolina Waste, Repower, and Waste Management. From a young age, Chris was involved in the Boy Scouts, instilling in him a lifelong love of the outdoors.
He cherished spending time in nature-riding 4 wheelers, hunting, fishing, camping (especially in the mountains), and enjoying fireworks. Christopher was known for his great sense of humor and his genuine love for people. He was also an animal lover, and his fur baby, Zeus, held a special place in his heart.
Chris's memory will be forever treasured by his family: his father, Allan William Moore, Sr., of Summerville; his mother, Rhonda Phillips Wilson, of Walterboro; his fiancée, Julie C. Woods of Harleyville; two stepdaughters, Mariah Woods and Raevyn Rodriguez, both of Harleyville; his sister, Brittany Moore of Summerville; his brother, Keenan Black of Summerville; his grandmother, Ruth Phillips of Clearwater, FL; his bonus parents, Tammy and Eric Sigman of Edisto Island; his niece, Luna Moore; and his cherished fur baby, Zeus.
His funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday afternoon, February 12, 2026, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow at Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 PM until the hour of service on Thursday. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 W. Main St., Moncks Corner, SC 29461 (843-761-8027), to assist with his funeral expenses.
Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His humor, adventurous spirit, and kindness leave a lasting legacy.
