Jeffrey Hair Obituary

I just heard about the passing of Jeff and I am stunned. Jeff and I were best-friends at Charleston Southern. We had not seen each other for many years, but when we did speak it was as thought only a few days had passed
Jeff was honestly the funniest person that I have ever known and always knew how to make me laugh. My heart is breaking right now because I loved him so much. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Jeffery while working at CMH several years ago. A beautiful person that always greeted others with a smile...and a twinkle in his eyes. I remember him sharing stories of his experiences of traveling outside of the US. I remember telling him how beautiful the colors of his eyes were and noticing its change of color during the change of season...He will always be remembered for his genuine personality and desire to help others...will greatly be missed.

I'm devastated to hear that Jeffrey died. I don't know what to say. He was a light shining bright in the midst of us. I cannot begin to imagine the depth of your sorrow. I'm deeply saddened and will be praying fervently for you. Tons of hugs!!!

I was heartbroken to hear of Jeffrey's passing. I met Jeffrey three years ago on my first trip to Charleston to visit my brother and his husband. We went to this concert at a church at the arts festival and laughed about the experience for a long time! I immediately was fond of Jeffrey and stayed connected by chatting on Facebook. I loved keeping up with his art and chickens and was looking forward to seeing him and going for a hike at Charles Town Landing with him when I come down to visit again this spring. I will miss my Charleston friend. Know I am in prayer for all who Jeffrey touched, especially his parents, brother, and extended family. May the Lord comfort you.

While we did not know Jeffrey, we would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of Jeffery Hair. We are the neighbors of his Grandmother and know that she was absolutely devastated at the passing of Jeffrey. If you need anything we are here.

So shocked and saddened to hear about Jeff. Many tears shed. Such a talented, creative, caring and funny man. My life is bigger because of Jeff. He will be missed.

I loved Jeffrey. He is as a loving and king person. He will be missed.

I was just devastated when I heard of Jeffrey's passing. He and I became friends in the first grade at Fishburne Elementary School and remained friends up until now. He was truly a special person! So thoughtful, creative, adventurous and HILARIOUS! He had such a great sense of humor and laugh a beautiful smile! This world has lost an amazing person. I'll never forget him. I worked with Jeffery at aiken Barnwell mental health for 6 years and I have not been in contact with him for the last 12 years. That has been my loss and will be my burden for the rest of my life. I think Bob Dylan may have summed the quality of Jeffery's life with this line " I make shoes for everyone even you but I still go barefoot" I'm going to always regret not connecting with you sooner. We had some wonderful times and I'll miss you Jeffery Hair.

So saddened by loosing our dear Jeffrey. He was a great inspiration to so many. Always willing to help and with a smile on his face everytimevI spoke with him. He was consistently willing to help others and will be missed by so many. Sweet rest to you dear Jeffrey.

Jeffrey was a shining start at CDMHC. His smile and willingness to help was apparent daily. My heart is saddened to hear that we lost his bright flame. Jeffrey will be much missed by so many whose lives he touched.

I was so very sorry to hear of Jeffrey's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at Charleston Mental Health and we shared a lot of special talks and laughs. He was so talented, funny, sensitive and kind. I am praying for God's supernatural comfort for you only He can provide at this most difficult time.

Celso and I are so saddened by the news of Jeffrey's passing. Long time friend and co-worker...we pray to God for strength for the family and for receiving his soul in Paradise, a place of refreshment and rest, where there is no pain, suffering or sorrow. May Jeffrey's memory be eternal.

I am so sadden to hear of Jeff's passing. I worked with Jeff at Haut Gap Middle School. I will always remember his kindness and passion for helping people. My condolences to his family.

We have kept in touch over the years and had an ongoing Words With Friends battle constantly. I am going to miss my friend! The family is in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. God Bless!

I first met Jeff when we were at Francis Marion. Hard to believe that our last lunch at Fleet Landing would be the last time I'd see him. I am so sorry for your loss. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.

We are all suffering a tragic loss. Jeffrey was witty, intelligent, and so talented. He touched our lives - my life - in a very positive way. I am at a loss on how to express my sympathy in a way that would be as meaningful as the good memories he provided to me.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jeffrey's sudden passing. We worked together at the Aiken Barnwell Mental Health Center a few years ago, and we kept in touch online after he returned to Charleston and was working at that center. He was always bright, funny, attentive to his work, and very creative. I have several of his paintings, including a Lowcountry scene that hangs in my dining room and a couple of his chickens in one of my offices. They always make me smile, and I'm sure they will continue to do so through the sadness that I feel after this terrible news. My sincere condolences and prayers that your family will find peace in this very trying time.
