Jeannine Patricia Mosher MCCLELLANVILLE, SC - Jeannine Patricia Mosher, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by love at her home on Sunday, October 26, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1938, in Syracuse, New York, and spent her early years there before building a beautiful life and raising her family in Pulaski, New York. In 1961, Jeannine married, Rodney Harold Mosher, with whom she shared more than five decades of love, laughter, and adventure before Rodney's passing in 2015. Together, they raised two daughters, Deborah Elizabeth Erich of McClellanville, South Carolina, and Denise Lucille Mosher of Merritt Island, Florida, who carry forward their parents' legacy of kindness, curiosity, and joy. Jeannine devoted 25 years of her career to teaching kindergarten in the New York public school system, shaping countless young lives with her patience, creativity, and warmth. Later in life, she and Rodney relocated to Florida, where she pursued a successful career in real estate. Jeannine and Rodney found great joy in their membership at Eau Gallie Yacht Club in Melbourne, Florida, where they formed friendships and shared a passion for boating and social gatherings. Jeannine's adventurous spirit led her across the world; she loved to travel, especially by sea, and delighted in exploring new places on her many cruises. A gifted crafter and seamstress, Jeannine's creativity shone through her handmade treasures. She was an avid reader, a lover of elegant High Tea times, and a devoted animal enthusiast-her loyal companion, Javi, was never far from her side. For the past ten years, Jeannine made her home in McClellanville, South Carolina, where she remained active in civic and social circles and cherished the tight-knit community she found there. Jeannine is survived by her daughters, seven grandchildren-Chris Powell, Rachel McNitt, Erica McLaughlin, Hillary Sadler, Franklin Powell, Courtney Herald, and Samuel Herald-and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply touched by her love, wisdom, and humor. Jeannine will be remembered for her bright disposition, sharp wit, and the special bonds she shared with each of her grandchildren. Her family will forever treasure the friendship, laughter, lessons, and love she gave so freely. Her spirit, generosity, and joy for life will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
