Jean Spurlock Obituary

Jean Baldwin Spurlock MT. PLEASANT - Jean Baldwin Spurlock, age 90, of Mount Pleasant, SC, widow of Clifton O'Brien Spurlock died Monday, December 26, 2016. Interment will in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Jean was born June 2, 1926 in Richmond, Virginia, daughter of the late Arthur Percy Baldwin and the late Dorothy Crumpton Baldwin. She was a member of the Charleston Symphony, the Ladies Golf Association, and the Snee Farm Garden Club. She is survived by two sons, Richard Spurlock of Spotsylvania, VA and Mark Spurlock of Mount Pleasant, SC; a daughter, Carol A. Owen of Memphis, TN; five grandsons and one granddaughter; and her sister, Anne B. Lewis of Gainesville, FL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 5900 Core Road, Suite 504 N.
