to mrs joyce and family, i am so truly sorry for your lost. jason was one of my best friends and he even took the name of my son for his. i heart is hurting from this lost but i know that he will always be watching me and ya'll and my prayers and heart goes out to you.

I knew Jason for 2 years and we had a handsome son named Jaden. Jason was very proud of Jaden. We wasn't together but my heart feel bad for my child. To the family keep your head up

To anybody who reads this jason and i was together for 2 years and i enjoy the time we shared. When our first child (Jaeden) was born he was so happy. I met Mrs. Joyce and she was the most sweetest person you could ever could have met. I am truly sad by my sons lost.

To the family: I am so sorry to hear about Jason. I knew him from school and he was always a nice, funny person. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers, and just know that he is with God.

My Sincere prayers go out to the Rivers family. Jason and I went to school together and I always remember he was able to make you laugh at any given moment!!You will be missed, but you are in a better place. Put God first and it will all fall into place.

Hey Mama Joyce!! You may or may not remember me but Jason and I used to date in 9th grade to 10th grade and i just found out about it by Richard West!!! I cant express what i am actually feeling at this point but i do know that Jason is some place better than here!! My prayers go out to ya'll whole family. I grew up with you man, we use to play ball in Danny Jones, chase girls, and get into fights with people in the streets, but your gone to a better place now. To his family: be strong at the funeral today and instead of crying over his death, celebrate his life. This military got me in Louisiana so I can't make it to the funeral but ya'll are in my prayers.

My condolences go out to your family. I was a former Brentwood classmate of Jason and my mother was the lunch room worker and she sends her condolences as well.

I went to high school with Jason and he was a loving, caring, funny, young man. My condolences to the family and Quinton keep your head up baby boy is gonna be alright and you will see him again someday.

I am so sorry to hear of Jason's death. He was one of the first to welcome my son Roy into the neighborhood when we moved there a few years ago. J-Lo (as I affectionately know him) was always very respectfully to me (which speaks volumns in today's time). I enjoyed talking to him because he was so full of knowledge. He will be missed from the neighborhood. I pray that the fond memories of your son will help uplift you in your darkest hours. My son Roy sends his condolences. Be Blessed and know that Jason is now back in God's hand.

Dag Jason, I can not believe that you are actually gone. It was like only yesterday that we were literally talking and joking in the mall parking lot. You will be sadly missed, and to Quentin keep your head up, and remember 2008 is A New Beginning. To the family God will keep you in Perfect Peace; just keep your mind satyed on him. because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
