JACKSON, Janie VANCE Funeral services for Mrs. Janie Winningham Jackson, 76, widow of Clarence Jackson, will be 3:30 p.m. this Thursday in the Sandridge Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Litchfield officiating. The casket will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Jackson died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 in a Charleston hospital. She was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Adam Winningham and Alfew Martin Winningham. Mrs. Jackson was co-owner of the former Jackson's Restaurant in Holly Hill, and a member of Sandridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by sons, Stanley and Tony Jackson. Surviving are a daughter, Angel Christ of Jamestown, NC; sons, Mitchell Jackson of Summerville, Timmy Jackson of Columbia, Carl Jackson of Savannah, and Randy Jackson of Monroe, NC; sisters, Mary Bolen of Vance, Estelle Parker of Eutawville, Annie Jean Weatherford of Cross, and Mozelle Williams of Savannah; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
