Janie Hill Obituary

HILL, Janie WALTERBORO - Mrs. Janie Crosby Hill, 69, of 411 Center Street, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Colleton Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 o'clock, Friday, April 7, 2006, at The Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery. Mrs. Hill was born August 20, 1936, in Colleton County and was the daughter of Charles Herbert Crosby and Edna Ryan Crosby. She was the widow of Guerry Lee Hill, Sr. She worked for 43 years for Keith Kinard, Attorney at Law, and retired as a legal secretary. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Walterboro. She will always be remembered by family and friends alike as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Surviving are: her children, Guerry L. "Buddy" Hill, Jr., and his wife Becky of Walterboro, and Marie H. Hoff and her husband Terry of Cottageville; grandchildren, Cassy Hill, Whitlee Hill, Megan Hoff, and Taylor Hoff; mother-in-law, Sarah A.
