Jane Elizabeth DuBose

Jane DuBose Obituary

Jane Elizabeth DuBose CHARLESTON - Jane Elizabeth DuBose [74], of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on September 4, 2022. She will be missed by her children, Grady Whitney DuBose, Wendy Elizabeth Curtis (Ryan); and her grandsons, Nicholas DuBose, Mackenzie DuBose (Mary), Jacob Curtis, Caleb Curtis; former spouse, Marion DuBose; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Margaret Reese; and sibling Joyce Ann Patterson. Jane will be remembered for being a great mother and grandmother, her spunk, willingness to help others, and the love of her cats. She worked for the Post and Courier for 25+ years as a carrier for the downtown Charleston area. Jane loved her job. She rarely missed work and made a lot of friends along the way. She always talked about the people she came across on her route. Some made her goodies and others just liked to talk as much as she did. When her health declined last year, she was upset she didn't get to say goodbye. So, to everyone who ever crossed paths with Jane, she says Goodbye! The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Oakbrook Health & Rehabilitation Center, and Traditions Health Hospice for their care and compassion.
